Club Policies

For Players and Families

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These policies apply to every player and family registered with Lakeland Futsal Club. By submitting a registration or membership form, or by purchasing a plan, the parent/guardian agrees to these policies.

1. Membership and Payments

Monthly Membership is $90 per month and renews automatically on the same date each month until cancelled. Payment is charged to the card on file at each renewal. Membership fees cover scheduled training sessions during the billing month. If a payment fails, the family has 7 days to update their payment method; after that, the player's participation is paused until the account is brought up to date.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Memberships are month-to-month, with no long-term contract. You may cancel at any time from your member account or by emailing lakelandfutsalclub@gmail.com. To avoid the next charge, please cancel at least 7 days before your next billing date. Your membership stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for. Membership fees are non-refundable and are not prorated for partial months.

3. Single Sessions

A single session is $25. Single sessions are non-refundable. You may reschedule a single session once, to another date, if you notify the club at least 24 hours before the session starts. No-shows and late cancellations are not refunded or rescheduled.

4. Missed Sessions, Injuries and Absences

Sessions missed by a player for any reason, including illness, injury, vacation, school activities or other commitments, are not refunded, credited or made up. Memberships cannot be paused or frozen for injuries or absences. If a player will be out for an extended period, the family may cancel the membership following the cancellation policy above and re-join at any time.

5. Sessions Cancelled by the Club

If the club cancels a session because of weather, facility issues, coach availability or any other reason, the club will offer a make-up session or a credit toward a future session. Families will be notified as early as possible by email, text or the club's social media. For outdoor activities, play stops when lightning is seen or thunder is heard and resumes no sooner than 30 minutes after the last strike.

6. Holidays

The club may be closed on major holidays. Monthly membership fees already account for scheduled holiday closures, and these are not credited or made up. Holiday closures will be announced in advance.

7. Player Code of Conduct

Players are expected to:

  • Arrive on time, ready to train, with appropriate clothing, indoor/futsal shoes, shin guards and a filled water bottle.

  • Listen to and respect coaches, teammates, opponents, referees and facility staff.

  • Play fair, play safe and show good sportsmanship whether winning or losing.

  • Never use bullying, harassment, foul language, fighting or any intentional rough play.

  • Take care of club equipment and the facility.

Coaches may remove a player from an activity for unsafe or disrespectful behavior. Repeated or serious misconduct may lead to suspension or removal from the club without refund.

8. Parent and Guardian Code of Conduct

Parents and guardians are expected to:

  • Support all players positively and leave coaching to the coaches during sessions and games.

  • Treat coaches, referees, other families and facility staff with respect.

  • Never use abusive language, threats or aggressive behavior.

  • Raise concerns calmly and privately with club staff, not during a session.

The club may ask any person whose behavior is disruptive or abusive to leave, and may suspend or remove a family from the club without refund.

9. Health, Safety and Medical Information

Parents and guardians must tell the club about any medical condition, allergy, medication or physical limitation that could affect their child's participation, and keep emergency contact information up to date. Players who are sick, contagious or injured should not attend. Futsal is a physical sport, and injuries can happen. In case of an injury, staff will provide basic first aid and contact the parent/guardian. In an emergency, the club may call 911 and seek medical care for the player if a parent/guardian cannot be reached, and the family is responsible for any resulting medical costs.

10. Drop-off, Pick-up and Supervision

Club supervision begins when the session starts and ends when the session ends. Please drop players off no more than 10 minutes before and pick them up no more than 10 minutes after each session. Players may only leave with their parent/guardian or an adult the parent/guardian has authorized in writing. Repeated late pick-ups may result in suspension from the program.

11. Photos and Media

The club may take photos and videos during training sessions, games and events, and may use them on its website, social media and promotional materials. Players' full names will not be published without permission. Parents/guardians who do not want their child to appear in club media can opt out at any time by emailing lakelandfutsalclub@gmail.com.

12. Communication

The club communicates mainly by email, text message and social media. Families are responsible for keeping their contact information up to date. For questions or concerns, contact the club at lakelandfutsalclub@gmail.com or 863-944-4471.

13. Privacy

Information submitted through registration and membership forms is used only to run club programs, contact families and handle payments. The club does not sell personal information. Payment card details are processed by the site's payment provider and are not stored by the club.

14. Changes to These Policies

The club may update these policies from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page, and families will be notified of any significant changes.
